ERA (European Regions Airline Association) is an industry association, representing the interests of Europe’s regional airlines, manufacturers and support organisations.

i-KOS were originally tasked with redesigning ERA’s corporate identity, having been invited to undertake a full audit of their brand and provide a strategy to help it progress further.

As with so much in business it was this relationship which led us to being invited to write a business case for ERA to develop a monthly magazine.

The report written by i-KOS outlined the required resources, core objectives and the likely costs to publish a journal not just for their members but to also reach the European aviation industry at large.

The result was i-KOS’ invitation to ‘partner’ with ERA to become the contract publishing arm for their newly-formed communication division.

March 2004 saw the launch of ‘Regional International’ which since then, has gone from strength to strength.

i-KOS handle the entire process from the raw copy stage, to the design and typesetting of each issue, through to the print management and mailing methods. Each edition is delivered to a growing worldwide audience.

Following the success of Regional International, we were offered the additional responsibility of the publication of the ERA Yearbook, which has become an indispensable reference work for the aviation industry. Other regular ERA tasks include ‘conference special’ editions and numerous other communication materials.
