A fiercely competitive market demands a well crafted business plan; i-KOS worked with TrueDiamonds to thoroughly research the marketplace so that we could help to position their business online. A initial budget was agreed upon and a website was built with a discreet range of popular diamond jewellery. Google adwords (LINK) and the national press were the chosen media for the ‘soft launch’ leading up Christmas 2006. The results encouraged all parties to fully scale up. In the following months, i-KOS set about developing the brand, designing the website, commissioning the photographer, configuring and deploying the CMS - SiteSolved 2.0 (content management system) and integrating with HSBC for e-commerce fulfillment. The resulting website now showcases over 12,000 exquisite pieces of diamond jewellery. i-KOS are now working on phase 2 – search engine marketing, which encompasses affiliate marketing, Pay-Per-Click and organic SEO work.
