The practice exercises and demonstrations were very useful. It was good that we could ask questions and elaborate on specific points when needed. I had only just installed drupal the day before the course so had very limited experience; but fortunately the course was pitched perfectly for me. It reaffirmed what I had just done and expanded on it, and then continued to a more advanced level with lots of good pointers on what we should be concentrating on.
As a new user, I found the course very useful. It started off with the the basics that I had just learnt, but was paced in a way that reflected my non-drupal dev knowledge. I believe the more advanced members still found it useful too because it confirmed what they already believed. The course has made me feel like I could comfortably start to build a site. It has left me wanting to keep learning and exploring what Drupal can do.
